  The establishment of NU Laguna is a   significant chapter in the long and storied       history of the National University system,   which dates back to 1900.

 NU Laguna was inaugurated on  September  2018 as a pioneering venture to   expand the university's mission beyond     Manila. Built in partnership with  SM   Group Companies, Moonton Games, and   INSPIRE  Sports Academy,  the campus was envisioned as a state-of-the-art institution within the National University-Laguna Technology Park. This strategic location was chosen to directly feed highly skilled graduates into the booming industrial and technological sectors of the CALABARZON region. From its initial batch of students, NU Laguna has quickly grown into a key academic hub, staying true to the university’s motto: "Education that works".
